Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

After a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection has returned for a limited time that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist multiple package options available here.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is certainly permanent access to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade mapping application which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, dungeons, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available on any platform, the applications only function on Windows.

For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
